THE CAT IN THE HAT FLOP

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 27 August 2008 01:30 (A review of The Cat in the Hat)

This movie, aside its "FAMILY" name, there is nothing about this movie that is family orientated. I hated it. I thought that if it wasnt for the actors in the movie, and if this was a low budget movie, that there wouldnt be as much hype about it. The concepts in this movie, were nothing short of less then what CHILDREN should be subjected to. The sexual and over the top antics, are just not suited for the viewing eyes of children...
Overall, a total shit movie...

JUMPER

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 27 August 2008 01:10 (A review of Jumper)

This movie, with all the hype aside, was a total blunder. The movie totally relies on the action aspects and not on a strong story line or plot. There was alot of faults throughtout this film and alot of concepts not carefully thought through. Like, if you could transport anywhere, why not simply go somewhere and hide? Why go against logic and common sense? And how did these people come about this special power? It is precedence of HANCOCK... All action, no story...

KUNG FU PANDA

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 6 August 2008 01:22 (A review of Kung Fu Panda)

The story of a Panda Bear who goes after a dream to be a martial arts porfessional, after working most of his life in a noodle resturant with his dad who is some type of bird, to me seems like an unrealistic plot. However, after watching this movie, I realised that this "family friendly" and is a great movie to sit down with the family, and learn the moral of "never giving up"...
Overall, not the best movie ever made, but a fun and interesting film to get caught up in...

JUNO

Posted : 15 years, 8 months ago on 4 August 2008 02:46 (A review of Juno)

When I first heard of this movie, honestly I thought it would be a blow out and nothing to watch; something that wouldn’t keep my attention for the duration of the whole movie. This was because there have been movies like it, promising a unique and new tale, but with small impact. But I was surprised to watch a distinguished and comic movie. This movie has a topic that many teenage girls can relate to and the fast talking and witty comments produced by main character and movie headliner Juno, takes the stance that some girls wouldn’t in their own lives. The soundtrack to this movie fits perfectly to the theme and the feel of the movie and creates peaked emotions. Overall, the combinations of humour and feel create a great movie…
